How Does a Conveyor Chain Work?

A conveyor chain comprises a series of journal bearings that link together. The bearings contain a brush and pin, which helps the chain roller to move. 5. The old chain cannot be mixed with the new chain. It should cause impact and damage the chain.

6. Leave the chain on there for a while, then use diesel oil or kerosene to clean it, then apply engine oil and place it in a dry place.

In addition, to wear, the chain will often break. Breaking usually occurs due to improper use of the chain. The chain should be lubricated and cleaned regularly. The use environment of the chain is also critical to the service life of the chain. Generally, it is better to use stainless steel chains, galvanized chains, and nickel-plated chains on corrosive occasions and outdoors.
